Growth through Common Objects

My main concentration behind this photo collage is to show how a  common subject goes through rapid age and/or degradation. The reason I chose this as my main concentration for this photo collage is because I always thought how everybody doesn’t seem to pay much attention towards how most of these common items go through natural change as much as we do whether it be influenced from the environment or outer influences. This usually starts at items we see day to day like a fresh new car becoming fully broken down and rusted or a newly paved road being worn down over the years. At the beginning, I thought of common household items that we use that would continually change under constant usage and decided that’s where I should start. I tried to show this off with an acorn that continually grew, a candle slowly melting, down due to being lit, or even a fresh new tennis ball going through some wear and tear. In the future, I hope I can explore more items that can show a wider range of growth and change because I know that there are for more complex options out there for this investigation.
